What is Creditlook?
We are an online credit forum. We are not a credit reference company. Nor do we do credit checks. We show you the current status of all companies that are breaching their payment terms or who have been in the past 12 months. These companies have been reported anonymously by members of your trade association or other trade associations within your sector. Which means the information they provide is not only up-to-date but also highly relevant to your business.
In a nut shell, we protect companies like yours from running into payment issues with current or prospective customers. Credit reports don’t always show the full or up-to-date picture; wouldn’t it be easier if you could find out from someone who’s been trading with them recently? Well now you can, just give Creditlook a try.
Members report companies breaching their payment terms, to collectively help build a comprehensive database of payment history for all members to share.
Creditlook is an online community sharing negative payment history on companies to help businesses like yours avoid bad debtors.
Simply log in, review and update current records through a simple drop down listing. The updates take no more than a few minutes. The more up-to-date it is the more value it provides, so we’ll email you each week to remind you to update or report payment on the records you have entered. Even if there is no change to an outstanding debt, we will report the increasing length of time the debt has been outstanding. You can see all past entries, made by you and other members, in date order.
For each company listed, Creditlook records how many members have been affected. If any company trades outside of their payment terms, a member can instantly register them and the details of the debt.
Creditlook also records any legal proceedings that have taken place in order to attempt to recover debt.
All information is entered and updated anonymously, these records can be viewed by all Creditlook members throughout the supply chain, for the collective benefit.
The Creditlook service can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere with an internet connection. Login is password protected and unique to each individual member.
